The story behind this song started with an IRS tax audit in which I ended up having to pay a tremendous amount in back taxes that I naturally did not have the money to pay well to make the story short it took me 10 years to pay this debt and those were 10 of the most trying years of my life and my wife and I tried every avenue possible to deal with it but they all failed but one day The Lord in his own way brought an end to that agonizing experience and that's the story behind the song ''Things Are Better Now ''
